2026
“God & Violence” is my fifth major body of work. It was built around small, neat compositions intentioned as mirrors held up to myself. The series deals in comparison and contrast. “The Face & The Wearer” for example is a comparison between inward and outward perception. The image depicting two waring figures. One holds the other in a chokehold. Despite this the other figure is smiling holding up prayerful hands as if masking his circumstances.
“Notable & Ephemeral” demonstrates the ego of the artist. Directly comparing the artist against his created work. Likewise confronting his desire to make something that might outlast his. There is a twisted irony to the painting. The artist can be seen running into his studio which is alight. In his attempt to save his work from the flames he puts his own life on the line.

For the attention of the curator
I am a Central Coast based artist looking to partake in either a solo or group exhibition.
I work primarily in a series-based approach. Treating each piece as a small vignette contributing to a larger body of work. Each conceptual series of work acts a reflective chapter within my larger oeuvre.
I believe that the artmaking process is deeply reflective of the artmaker. The truth of this statement has been demonstrated in the shared communal interactions with my own work as my process has developed. As I have furthered my narrative crafting and compositional abilities, I have been better able to engage the viewer through my work. The more of myself I put into each piece the more the work reflects the viewer.
Below are my two most recent bodies of work. “God & Violence” (2026) and “Yesterday, Today, Tomorrow” (2024 – 2025).
